General Description:

You are responsible for the creation and maintaining of  materials in SAP for the EMEA region.

You will act as Subject Matter Expert on the BMore Program on Material Master Data, including support on data migration of material master data.                  Contribute to set up and maintenance of an EMEA Product Hierarchy (Kalido)Contribute to set up and maintenance of a Global Product Hierarchy (Centaurus)

Main Tasks:

• Create Materials in SAP
• Maintain central material master data fields in SAP
• Own and explain the SAP material master data set up within the SAP BMore project / program
• Guard the integrity of SAP material master data
• Guard the integrity of the material; hierarchy, in Kalido MDM (central MDM / Business Intelligence tool within Univar EMEA) and in Centaurus MDM (global MDM / Business Intelligence program for our client)

Your Key Targets are:

• Timely and accurate creation of material master data
• Timely and accurate maintenance of central material master data
• Support BMore program as subject matter expert
• Effective support data migration on material master data within BMore program
• Successfully contribute to the building of an EMEA and Global material hierarchy

Gestelde eisen

We are looking for candidates with a chemical background and/or education (MBO/HBO). This is a theoretical position within the chemical business. So there will be no more operational work within a laboratory. This might a good second step for someone working in a laboratory.

The candidate preferably has a basic knowledge of material master data (mainly chemical and dangerous goods), like Dangerous Goods Classification, import / export codes and product attributes like grade, physical form, etc.

It is very important the you will have experience within the chemical area. Also the English language is very important. Knowledge of Dutch is preferred.

Basic knowledge and/or experience in material master data creation in an ERP system (SAP, BAAN, JDEdwards, etc.) is an advantage. Also experience working with Microsoft Office Applications
