The role of the General Ledger Accountant is insuring that the accounts are accurate and complete on a monthly base.

As a General ledger Accountant, your responsibilities are:

General G&L work including Fixed Assets, inventories, accruals, taxes (VAT and "loonheffing)

• Support in reporting to the holding
• Statutory accounts
• Outgoing payments

Gestelde eisen

Profile:

• A bachelor degree in accounting and at least 3 years of experience in Accounting with hands on knowledge of month end close processes
• Proven track record of improving (accounting) processes

Professional Skills:

• Analytical
• Good verbal and written communication skills - English mandatory.
• Knowledge of IFRS/IAS
• IT skills (MS Word, Powerpoint, etc) Excellent Excel skills, preferably knowledge of SAP
• Excellent IT skills (MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc), and good working knowledge of SAP FICO and preference COPA, preferably SAP BPC (Outlooksoft) and business warehouse tools (SAP BW, Cognos or equivalent)

Personal Skills:

• Enthusiastic, self-starter, no 9-to-5 mentality;
• Can handle with short deadlines and changing priorities
• Well organized
• Extravert

Reports:

• Reports to the Financial Manager
