Algemene omschrijving
In this position you will find a combination of Productionplanning and transportplanning.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Plan optimal distribution route for local supplies
- Working closely with forwarders
- Using standard software (ritplan) and SAP information
- Optimize Planning procedures in the areas of ingredients handling, storage, transport and production
- Dealing with long and short lead-time suppliers
- Dealing with challenging working capital and inventory targets
- Optimizing production plans in a complex environment
- Support introduction of more automated production planning software tools
- Work closely with production, warehousing and customer service to optimize overall service and costs levels

Position Requirements and Experience:
- Significant experience (3-5 years) in batch processing production planning function
- Significant experience in ingredients planning and inventory optimization function
- Strong internal and external customer service focus
- Ability to work in a highly structured way, and to write procedures for others
- People influencing skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Understanding & ability to work in different cultural environments
- Knowledge of SAP is a pre
- Feed Industry (business-to-business) knowledge is a pre
- Fluent in English is a must.

For this unit, we are looking for a Supply Chain Planner - a position that should help the local team to reach next levels of professionalism in terms of working in optimized processes. The SC Planner has an important role to optimize the end-to-end supply chain from suppliers to customers, including optimization of storage, transport and production efficiency levels.The position requires good influencing and people skills and business understanding plus significant experience in planning a complex production environment. The SC planner will report directly to the Planning and Logistics Manager BV.
