Sales Representative

Are you experienced within the Plastic Industry? Do you have knowledge of the masterbatch industry? We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Representative. In this comprehensive role, you are responsible for effectively managing the direct selling efforts and the achievement of planned sales, revenue and profit goals and objectives within the Netherlands.

In this role you report to the European Regional Manager. You will be contracted via the Luxemburg headquarters, but working locations (home based) is within the Netherlands as most clients are located in this area.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

• Developing strategies for continued growth consistent with the overall objectives in the assigned region
• Visiting customers frequently and to conduct routine customer meetings as needed
• Developing yearly sales goals, objectives and specific strategies and plans to meet and/or exceed those goals
• Managing pricing policies established by the Director of Sales and maintain special pricing within these guidelines according to product, quantity and customer considerations
• Advise corporate management of industry trends, current resin pricing, competitive activity and all other pertinent intelligence
• Having intimate knowledge of the market: competition, products needed, service required
• Developing budgets and business plans for the area
• Calling potential accounts to ensure the continued growth of the company.
• Developing action plans resulting in the achievement of the budget objectives, and review monthly, or more often if required, to determine actual progress against plan

Gestelde eisen

• Minimum 3-5 years commercial experience within the plastics industry
• Thorough knowledge of the company's markets (masterbatch industry)
• Preferably degreed in chemistry or marketing having experience within the plastics industry with practical knowledge of the masterbatch industry.
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Dutch. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus
• Proven track record in sales together with technical talent will contribute to develop long term commercial relationships
• Strong entrepreneur-spirit, who is creative and flexible
• Self motivated team builder with an out-going dynamic personality
• Persevering challenge seeker and good organizational skills
